YVONNE NYARKO had her BSc. in Business Administration (Banking & Finance), in 2003 from the University of Ghana (Business School), Legon, and a Bachelor of Laws (L.L.B.) from Birmingham Law School, University of Birmingham, United Kingdom, obtained in 2014. She was called to the Ghana Bar in 2017.
Yvonne worked as a Senior Financial Analyst with various institutions in the United States for almost a decade, including the State of Maryland, Johns Hopkins University and Wells Fargo Bank N.A., before switching to law. She brings a wealth of experience from the financial services and investment banking sector to her law practice.
She has extensive experience dealing with international client transactions, multi-nationals and Ghanaian businesses in the area of company law, corporate governance and meeting the regulatory requirements of different industries within Ghana.
Yvonne advises on all aspects of Corporate Law, Corporate Finance, Corporate Governance and Mergers and Acquisitions. She is also an Advocate engaged in court room practice and dispute resolution.
She is a well-regarded commercial litigator and has great experience in resolving disputes successfully. She specialises in litigation arising from commercial contracts, sale of shares and businesses, banking & finance and credit & debt recovery.
