RENEE PANARKUOR OWUSU ANSAH holds an LLB in Business and Finance Law from Brunel University (UK), an MSC in International Management from Essex University (UK), a qualification in the Bar Vocational Course from Northumbria University (UK). Renee was called to the Bar of England and Wales in 2004 and the Ghana Bar in 2007. She is a member of the Honourable Society of Lincolns Inn (UK) and the Ghana Bar Association.
Renee is a Partner in the firm in charge of the Intellectual Property Law and Commercial Law Team. Her rich experience in intellectual property law and expertise in commercial law practice affords her the rare skill combination required to assist clients with their intellectual property issues that arise in commercial transactions.
Renee also has excellent skills in negotiating and drafting all kinds of intellectual property and commercial agreements. She gives detailed attention to each transaction and is able to prepare well-tailored agreements that minimize the possibility of disputes and enhance harmonious business relationships between the parties. Renee is skilled in rendering strategic transaction advisory services to clients and undertaking of all kinds of due diligence.
Renee also has over 16 years of litigation practice under her sleeves. She successfully defended a trademark infringement matter and successfully obtained a counterclaim for an invalidation order affecting that registered trademark.
Renee is a notary public.
