MAAME ABENAA ADOMA FOSU obtained her LLB Degree from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi. She completed the Ghana School of Law and was called to the Bar in 2017.
Abena is a dedicated Associate and Head of the Land, Real Estate and Construction Team of the firm. She specializes in land / real estate conveyances and due diligence, perfection of interests in land, estate planning, family law and dispute resolution.
She has extensive experience providing legal advice and assistance to clients in relation to her practice areas. As a lawyer, she is an attentive listener, diligent, organized and highly detailed. She also has strong communication skills which enable her to work effectively with her clients.
Over her period of practice, Abena has successfully negotiated complex settlements between litigating parties and provided valuable legal advice to her clients. She frequently carries out thorough due diligence investigations on behalf of clients, and on many occasions, her advice has saved clients from incurring colossal losses. Her experience as a litigation lawyer gives her the added advantage of not only being able to advance her clients’ claims in court, but to assertively protect her clients’ interest when negotiating land sale or purchase terms.
In addition to her legal skills, Abena is a highly creative individual who does not hold back on ideas or suggestions she believes will give her clients the ultimate satisfaction. She passionately takes advantage of her position as an Associate and Team Head to contribute towards the firm’s growth and development in order to improve client experience. In that regard, Abena also serves as a facilitator for Land Law and Conveyancing at The Law Institute (TLI).
