JUSTICE KUSI-MINKAH PREMO had his LLB and an LLM from the University of Ghana. He was called to the Ghana Bar in April 1984.
Justice has served as the Vice President of the Ashanti Regional Branch of the Ghana Bar Association (GBA) and also the Vice President of the GBA at the national level. He has served on various committees of the GBA and continues to play such advisory roles as and when called upon. He lectures at the Law Institute, the firm’s training arm, and was a Senior Lecturer of the Ghana School of Law in Company Law and Practice. He also serves as Director on many Boards, both in the private and public sectors.
Justice has acted for both local and International Clients from various industries ranging from Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG), through Finance Houses to Oil and Gas. He has been involved in “Consulting for Sustenance” for companies in distress and has acted as lead Advisor in corporate change for several companies. He has been involved in activities arising from international projects, like FINSAP, Divestiture under SAP and the Millennium Challenge Account. He has consulted for the World Bank Group, Foreign Governments and State Institutions. He has been involved in Compact 1 and Compact 2 of the Millennium Challenge Account.
He is an avid litigator, an asset in risk management and very involved in transactional legal services. He is one of the most accomplished professional mentors in the legal profession.
Justice is co-author of Company Law & Governance of Other Corporate Bodies in Ghana. He also has to his credit 2 publications namely: The Legal Regulation of the Oil Industry in Ghana and the Divestiture Process in Ghana from Guidelines to the Law.
