OKATAKYIE BOAKYE DANQUAH ABABIO (Isaac Emmil Osei-Bonsu) is a seasoned legal practitioner with over 27 years’ experience in Ghana. He is an alumnus of University of Ghana, Legon where he read Law, Philosophy and Political Science. He graduated in Law with honors in 1994 and subsequently enrolled at the Ghana Law School for the two-year professional law course which he successfully completed in 1996. He was thereafter admitted to the Bar. He holds an Executive Masters Degree in Business Administration from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA).
He lectures at the firm’s training arm, The Law Institute on Credit Creation and Securitization. Isaac is an expert in corporate governance and serves as a director for several local and international companies.
As a lawyer, Isaac’s expertise is in Credit Creation & Debt Recovery, Commercial Law and Real Estate Law and handles matters for both local and foreign clients including some of the country’s strongest local entities and blue-chip multinationals involved in varied sectors of the economy. He has been involved in the setting up and structuring of international businesses in Ghana and provides transaction advisory services. Isaac’s skills in advocacy also make him a consummate negotiator and has been called upon by several businesses to negotiate contracts on their behalf.
He is the Honorary Consul of Jamaica to Ghana and is also a traditional ruler and the Twafohene of the Akyem Abuakwa Traditional Area. He is an avid golfer
