FRANK ASAMOAH holds a BL (Qualifying Certificate in Law) from the Ghana School of Law, an LLB from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST); and an LL.M (Maritime Law) from the University of Ghana. He was called to the Ghana Bar in October, 2012.
Frank currently is a Part-Time Lecturer at the Methodist University College Ghana and works with Minkah-Premo, Osei-Bonsu, Bruce-Cathline and Partners, as an Associate and is the Head of the Litigation and ADR Team. As a Unit in the Firm he handles matters for both local and foreign clients including some of the Country’s strongest local entities and foremost multinationals involved in varied sectors of the economy by working side by side with clients to negotiate collective bargaining agreements, structure trust deeds for Provident Funds and audit compliance within the HR Regulatory framework etc. making sure employees and employers coexist harmoniously to mutually enjoy the full benefits of each and every agreement.
Frank had his LLB from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. He was called to the Bar in October, 2012 and was awarded a prize as the overall Best Student in Company Law and Practice for the year 2012.
He loves to impart knowledge. With this desire, Frank was a Part-time Lecturer in Company and Business law at the Methodist University College Ghana (Now Methodist University) from 2014 to 2022.
Frank is a member of the Ghana Association of Restructuring & Insolvency Advisors (GARIA) and has been involved in restructuring and liquidation of companies in Ghana.
Frank has in-depth knowledge in Litigation, Maritime, Labour and Corporate law. Frank’s focus in private practice as a lawyer focus on Incorporation and Registration of Businesses, Registration and Investment Promotion Entities (Ghana Investment Promotion Center (GIPC) Ghana, Free Zones Board Procurement of Certified True Copies of filings. Renewals and Change of particulars, filing and updating of statutory registers.
As an Associate of the firm, Frank has handled several notable cases for the firm which had far reaching consequences for workers and players in the labour environment. He has also represented Clients in the various Courts including High Court, Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court.
