AWURAMA SERWAA BONSU GENFI obtained her LL.B from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) in Kumasi. Subsequently, she attended the Ghana School of Law and was called to the Ghana Bar in 2022. She also holds a Legal Practice Certificate (LPC) and was awarded a Master of Science (MSc) in Law, Business and Management by the University of Law (UK). Additionally, she is a member of the Chartered institute of Arbitrators (UK).
Over the years, Awurama has interned with recognised law firms and has gained a wealth of knowledge and experience in the law. Her keen interest in business also led her to partake in various projects including the COVID-19 Business Revival Project to revive businesses in the United Kingdom that were affected during the pandemic.
Awurama previously interned at the firm with the Litigation team where she gained legal experience through regular court attendances and the drafting of legal documents. Currently, as a member of the Corporate and Compliance team, she is involved in corporate litigation, company secretarial work and advises on corporate transactions involving both local and foreign clients.
Awurama loves travelling and swimming.
